Shades of Grey

Today it poured here in Milano. I had never experienced rain like this before today. As we were taking my
pictures for today's blog post a big splat of water hit my arm...I thought it was bird poop but as I looked I saw it was water. Again a big splat on my head... then it all came pouring on us, huge droplets of rain one could stand between the in a certain spot and not get wet it was so strange in California when it rains it sprinkles evenly, here it is sparse but heavy. We had to run to the metro and we got pretty drenched but I have to admit it was quite fun. Anyway for today's look I went with a monochromatic theme. Stuck to basic black and white but have fun mixing prints :)

Checkmate!

Nothing screams summer like nice pair of short shorts. The Sacramento River with some friends is a great spot to relax the day away. The river is gorgeous I am tempted to go back and do a shoot in the water :) Today I was feeling a little retro with my pink checkered top so I paired it with some high-waisted shorts that I dyed and paint splattered myself and some white high top sneakers. Polkie Dots

I still remember making these polka dot pants when I first started fashion school. It was the first pair of pants I had
ever made and surprisingly they turned out wearable. I made them as a gift for one of my sisters but she did not like
them and used them as her pajama. I rescued them and today I finally got to wear them out :)

Cut Outs

Hi loves! Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Today my little sister and I spent the day together strolling by the Marina. I decided to bare a little skin with this forest green blouse with side cut outs. I love the detailing of the cut outs being laced together like a corset. I also wore my leggings with slashes in the front and finished the look off with my sexy lace up wedges .
