Polka Dot Bikini Girl

Greetings from Barbados! It is surreal I am here. This is my first time visiting the Caribbean islands. Barbados is definitely not what I had expected, to be honest I wanted to visit the island because Rihanna is originally from here lol. Upon arrival the first thing I noticed was there was little to no tourists, I am guessing when people visit they must stay at all inclusive hotels because tourism is almost non-existent. I personally like it better this way because it's more of an authentic experience but it makes it difficult in terms of finding restaurants near some of the beaches. The locals are super friendly, probably some of the nicest and most helpful people I have met in my travels. It is also somewhat affordable as our US dollar is worth twice the Barbadian dollar. My sister did a little bit of research and found out that Barbados is a pretty safe country to travel in and getting around the island on the bus is very easy. The bus costs $2 Barbadian and goes everywhere. They also blast island music on the buses which I have a deep appreciation for, it is like a little party bus :)
I am sad we leave literally a few weeks before the Crop Over Festival. I will have to return for the festival one of these years. Have you guys visited any of the Caribbean islands?

Como la Flor

As you know, when you go on vacation and stay at an all inclusive resort you spend majority of your time poolside or at the beach. Wearing a swimsuit that is versatile for both and easy to tan in is a must. I fell in love with this vintage inspired floral swimsuit almost immediately. I adore the flounce detailing it has around the bosom and the hips, it adds a fun and flirty feel. I will miss the clear sea green water, our gorgeous resort, the memories we made during our stay... oh Cozumel, I will miss you...
