Peach Glow

Any look can easily be made more casual by simply tying a jacket, sweater or button down around the waist. This came in really handy since when I put on this peach lace dress it appeared to have somewhat shrunk in the wash, so the extra length from my button down kept it modest. I threw on some sneakers and my new favorite cross-body bag which fits all my essentials.

I was super excited to walk around el centro and get to the city my mom grew up in. A few memories flashed back from when we used to live there when I was 4 years old. The parks we would play in the the temple we would walk to, I wish I could stay here longer. El Hospitalito, is the temple behind me. It was the temple my parents got married in, it was soooo small I can't imagine how my whole family fit in there to watch the ceremony, it was the first temple they built in Irapuato, Guanajuato. I am so blessed to have such a loving and caring family here in Guanajuato. I will definitely be back soon. xoxo

La Tortuga

I am currently enjoying my third week here in Mexico. I am extremely thankful and blessed to have such a loving family. This weekend we went to check out El Geiser in Hidalgo, it was amazing all of the pools where heated and the vapor from the volcano was epic, even though since it contained sulfur it stank like egg lol.
We then headed over to La Tortuga in Queretaro which was more of a spiritual experience. We first had massages and then we had a session in el temazcal, which is like a spiritual steam room. The temazcal was intense, it was a 2hour session with 4 tiny breaks in between, at one point I had to lay down because I was about to pass out from all the heat. It was such an emotional experience holding space for others and letting go of all the toxic things from all lives. xoxo

Sporty Vibe

Even though I usually don´t wear sneakers I have grown a liking to these from H&M. They are super comfortable and make any look appear more effortless. Since I am currently in Mexico visiting my family I am all for a comfortable shoe for the cobble stone streets. Having an outfit that is versatile is also very important so I can go from day to night with just a change of shoes and lipstick.
