Black Petals

Something about off the shoulder tops is extremely enticing. Even though there are many tops that expose the shoulders or the décolletage area, there is a distinct difference in the way you feel when you wear something off the shoulder. I fell in love with the embroidered flowers and the ruffled sleeves and waist line of this blouse. Something about it reminds me of the hand-embroidered Mexican blouses and it makes me think of home.
Do you own anything off the shoulder?

Hipster

Today I went out for brunch with my sister and a few close friends of ours. We have a few favorite breakfast spots here in Napa. Since a lot of my girlfriends are on spring break it is a perfect time to catch up since everyone is always so busy. I can't believe it's already spring, seems like just yesterday we were all writing our new year's resolutions. Are you guys doing anything exciting over spring break?
I decided to wear this jumpsuit for brunch it is so comfortable and I love the somewhat paisley looking print. My sister said I looked like a hippie and all I needed to complete my hippie look were some round sunglasses lol. What do you think?

Red Velvet

Since Valentine's Day is in a few days I decided to do a quick look inspired by this cute holiday. Whether your spending Valentine's day with your girlfriends or with a boo it's always fun to dress up. My first Valentine was barely last year lol and honesty I never really celebrated V-day, I think I only went out once with my girlfriends to go dance banda and the leader of the banda ended up sending a bouquet of roses for me and drinks for me and all of my friends. He also came to our table and serenaded me which was quiet charming haha I will never forget that experience. Anyway, enough story time, I decided to stick to a classic wine color palette for this look. You can easily change the shoes to make it look more classy but I liked the way the gladiator heels made the look more edgy.
What are your plans this Valentine's Day? :)

xoxo

Winter White

In case you hadn't noticed I am absolutely loving the monochramatic looks. Putting together outfits is simple yet it gives a crisp and effortless aesthetic. I based this look around this white knit top I picked up from Zara and added different shades of cream and grey. I went for a more tailored look but I did reach for contrasting textures to keep it a little more interesting. What do you guys think about the winter white trend?

Monochrome

I have really been enjoying monochromatic looks lately, it just looks effortlessly chic. I feel like the older I get the more I lean towards wearing neutral colors. I just turned 24 on Thursday :) Grey has never really been a color in my wardrobe so when a got these new pieces I was really excited to create this look. Luckily it is still rather warm here in Napa, so I was able to go out without a jacket and be relatively comfortable.
What do you think of the monochromatic trend?

Guadalupe
