Gingham

When I first saw this dress it instantly reminded me of a picnic. The print screamed picnic and summer, and I loved it lol. The wrap style I simply adore. This style is very forgiving due to the extra fabric that drapes over and gives you a more defined hourglass shape. A simple dress, with just the right details. I wore this out to grab lunch with my sister :) What prints are you loving?

China Beach

Something about last minute spontaneous trips make my heart happy. I took my sister to China Beach in San Francisco to kick off the first day of summer. This beach is a little smaller and more secluded than most, but you still get the amazing view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Surprisingly, it was a rather warm day in SF but of course not warm enough to go in the water haha (the water is always freezing!). We stayed until the sunset. Nothing better than a bottle of wine and soaking in the sound of the ocean.
Do you have any exciting summer plans? :)

Cinnamon

I recently came back from vacation about a week or so ago and I am loving how tan I am at the moment. I was traveling alone throughout South America for a little over 3 weeks. In that time I was able to visit Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. I had such an amazing time, and it was something I really needed (maybe I will do a blogpost about it on my other blog if it seems interesting for some cabinchronicle.blogspot).
I went out to catch up with a friend and my sister and I wore this stripped jumpsuit. Jumpsuits and rompers are definitely a must have for spring and summer. They are super lightweight and easy to just throw on. The wide leg on this jumpsuit made the whole look more casual and carefree. Are you guys excited for the spring and summer weather?

Lavender

Lately, I have become a huge fan of knit sweaters. They are so cozy and comfy. I would always shy away from them in the past because I felt like the consumed me and made me look twice my size😐. Now, I have realized the key is a combination of the fabric, and style. Oversized for me is a must. It is effortless and easier to style. Tucked into a pair of high waisted pants, belted or paired with a nice pair of pumps to elongate my legs and I am set. How do you wear your knit sweaters?

Silky Vanilla

A few days ago my sister and I went wine tasting in Napa Valley. We visited Domain Chandon and fell in love with their bubbly wine selection. It was my first time visiting and the winery was so beautiful. I wore this silky cream blouse, tied it midway and a structured skirt. For shoes, I wore my strappy sandals to try to keep the look minimalist.
It is so heartbreaking to hear about the fire that has spread and engulfed so many homes in Northern California. This is my hometown, where I have grown up and know many of the people who have had to evacuate and have lost homes. It is devastating to see photos and hear updates of the fire spreading and knowing many people have lost all of what they own. In this time of urgency it is great to reach out and try to help those affected.
Thankfully, the fire has yet to reach our home we are just overwhelmed with the toxic air and ashes. Please pray for Napa and everyone who has been affected by the fire.

Limón

Happy Monday! You learn to appreciate being home when you are always on the go. For me being home is spending quality time with my little sister and one of our favorite things to do (besides coffee runs) is getting brunch. It's the perfect time for us to catch up and and we have an excuse to dress up. You can't beat chisme over delicious breakfast and coffee. I found this canary yellow dress hidden in my closet. Once I realized I had the perfect pair of pumps to go with it I ripped the tags off and slipped it on. Am I the only one guilty of buying stuff only for it to be forgotten about? Hope you have an delightful week :)
